Description of categories

A: Military vehicles pre-1950:
Military vehicles and wheeled-equipment, in use until the end of the 1940´s. If the model is placed on a base representing its surroundings, only the model will be judged in this class.

B: Military vehicles post-1950:
Military vehicles and wheeled-equipment, in use since 1950. If the model is placed on a base representing its surroundings, only the model will be judged in this class.

C: Military diorama:
Military vehicles, equipment or instillations, placed in a natural setting, showing a moment in a given situation and the surrounding environment.

D: Aircraft 1:72 and smaller:
Military and civilian aircraft, helicopters and airborne material no larger than 1:72 scale and which have or could have existed. If the model is placed on a base representing its surroundings, only the model will be judged in this class.

E: Aircraft larger than 1:72:
Military and civilian aircraft , helicopters and airborne material larger than 1:72 scale and which have or could have existed. If the model is placed on a base representing its surroundings, only the model will be judged in this class.

F: Aicraft in diorama:
Military and civilian aircraft , helicopters and airborne material presented in a natural setting representing the environment and situation of a given moment.

G: Figures:
Models of single figures or several figures with an obvious and natural connection (eg. a rider and his mount). For example – humans, animals, prehistoric animals, cartoon-characters and such-like. If the model is placed on a base representing its surroundings, only the model will be judged in this class.

H: Figures i diorama:
Models of figures, presented in a natural setting representing the environment and situation of a given moment. If there are vehicles or larger items of equipment in the diorama, placement in another class may be at the discretion of the arrangers.

I: Civilian vehicles:
Racing cars, civilian cars, pick-ups and vans, primarily used for personal transport. Trailers and caravans, typically used in conjunction with cars and vans, are also permitted.

J: Trucks (tractor):
Trucks, tractor units and buses.

K: Maritime:
All types of ship, whether in a diorama or not. If the vessel is of a military nature and presented in a diorama representing harbour or dock equipment, or if the model represents an aircraft-carrier, or part thereof, with aircraft, placement of the model in another class may be at the discretion of the arrangers.

L: Sci-fi and Fantasy:
Science-fiction and Fantasy models of figures or vehicles (eg. Machinenkrieger), individually or within a diorama, along with models involving a combination of different scales.

M: Junior:
Model-makers under 16 years of age may choose to enter this class, where all models, regardless of category or scale, compete against each other.

N: Miscellaneous:
Models which cannot be placed in any other class. Contact the arrangers before entering this class.

O: Trucks and trailers:
Lorries and road tractors with trailers.

P: Trains:
Lokomotives, railway-carriages and railway equipment, individually or within a diorama. If of a military nature, placement of the model in another class may be at the discretion of the arrangers.
